...because I'm a bit bored

The other day I was bored too and navigating through some sites on Google (searching for stupid things) and... Hey, I'm that 'important' to get some of my art 'stolen' in a couple of sites?! LOLZ?! Well, 'stolen' or 'featured w/o my permission' it's the same

Meh, I'm too lazy to complain about that and pics have my URL linking here so... And they were fanart, btw...

I was thinking about getting some stamps to put on my shoutbox (you know, the box-text-insert-here-whatever-you-like that appears beside the journal). I modified a bit the shoutbox, btw and typed there things I have to do and WiP's, to have a kind-of-schedule of things I'm doing

I don't have sometimes a meassure of things and I have seen LOOOTS AND LOOOTS of stamps that I like... -_-.

In that shoutbox I think I will put some deviation I liked specially once in a while too (can't say "of the week/of the month" 'cause I'm a bit random ).

I still have to upload some pics I did recently...

Yesterday I cancelled my subscription of Lord of the Rings Online (LotRO) I wasn't playing I dunno exactly why the game has an appeal but it hadn't me hooked. The game was fine and I thought it will have me leaving World of Warcraft (WoW)... but nope.

I still play WoW and I like it a lot, even not doing raids 'cause I'm laaaaaazy. I'm doing quests and farming my way to my epic gryphon (or epic flight form), questing, doing some instances here and there and leveling up some new characters and doing lots of PvP (saving up Honor Points in case anything gets my eye ). And I don't feel under pressure (well I've never been, I'm not a pr0 nor pretended to be xD). A lot of RL friends left but I still stay with two or three

Ok, this is serendipty: a friend called me right now to talk (it was a month since I talked last time to him) and told me almost all of my friends are back on WoW! LOLZ?!! O_o And I'm just writing about it!!! This is quite oportune! I'm happy! He says probably we got fed up and took our time on other (online or not) games but then you hear a 'ding' and some day you wake up and you would like to play a bit (that happen to me lots of times, I have seasons in which I play a lot of timesor seasons I don't play almost nothing). And then another season of WoW goes Ahh... can't wait to the expansion

Also I'm waiting for Age of Conan and Warhammer Online (I'm addicted to MMORPG ). I wasn't going to play the later but a friend (the one I'm playing with on C'Thun) convinced me and now I know some people on his guild on C'thun that are going to play WO so I fell too... I'll be playing a Dark Elf! (I think we are going to do 'Chaos' )

So I think there is nothing left. I'll be on Madrid this weekend visiting some friends, so see you on Monday

1- I am laaaaazy. But a weird lazyness. I can do things that some pople say "but it's too hard" and I think so too, but I do them anyway... but there are some things like "meh, I can skip eating today, I'm very lazy to do something to eat"... -_-

2- I'm a very curious person. I mean I think sometimes I'll die out of curiosity. I don't have any patience about things I want to know: be it books or roleplaying campaigns or anything. My world moves because of my curiosity and I *always* want to test things so I touch everything (later I can see an "ABRASIVE" title) and look at everything I can xD. I like to know lots of things about almost anything Well, also there are some things I'd never want to know xD

3- I have the strange habit of making faces when drawing (like *Froda-Stoney says too), Usually is about the mood of pic I'm drawing. If it is sad I'l put a sad face or something... xD

4- I'm the most maniatic person in the world about ortographic and gramatic stuff. I can do something just for fun (lol, kthxbai,(English) tb, aq, q, posi (Spanish)) because I like to write that way xD And I can stand typings because everyone here is human and I make them a lot too... but not ortographic thingies like [Spanish] haber/aber/aver/a ver or [English] you're/your. And don't tell me the "I'm in the science side" crap because I'm too and that's no excuse to have a bad ortography .

5- I can draw and roleplay nearly *anywhere*! I usually draw while I'm going with friends for a coffee, in the car (while I'm not driving, ofc ), in the train, at work, at class... Also goes for roleplaying. And I can roleplay while driving too (I have just to talk, so no big deal, I don't use dice and the such, someone will do it for me xD)

6- I cannot live without my PC (or a PC if I have not mine) and internet. Really, I'm addicted, be it Online Games (WoW), mail, dA, series, or just random things I get from the net xD. If something messes up on my PC I get hysterics and try to fix it as soon as I can myself or calling some informatic friends if I cannot xD

7- I get obssessed over things by seasons. I mean I can be one month centered on Harry Potter for example. Or Star Wars. Or World of Warcraft. And 85% of the things I do are realted to it. Also there are times when I combine two or three of my usual obssessions, but there is always one that gets over the others in the end. You can see is Harry Potter turn now

8- I cannot stand repetitive noises. They get me nervous to the extreme. Like snoring. You don't want to know what I think when someone is snorin. I think things NC-17 rated for extreme violence xD. My boyfriend tells me lots of things gets me nervous

So, OK, here I am trying the CSS/HTML and the journal-image stuff of my subscription (I wanted to try it) Hope you like. Still have to repair a couple of things but it's on the works The elf in the image is actually my Night Elf Druid, Shatila, at World of Warcraft with her little 'sister', a draenei girl I'll upload the pic soon.

Now I am actually working and moved with my boyfriend ~Nephthar (who works in the same office as me ) I don't have the large ammounts of time like before but it's nice too, this new life. Sad thing it's here is too hot for me (I come from the north of Spain and this place it's quite at south of it) but it snows in winter (and gets preety cold too!) so I'll not complain much We are a bit traumatized but the lack of mountains here but well...

I got myself a new printer yesterday. Old one, an Epson, was 10 years old and some days ago just stopped printing dunno why So I have a nice HP (49 €/55 $ more or less) that prints quite nicely Got some new thick paper to try it too.

I finished the last book of Harry Potter two days ago. And proved my theory to ~UlinGaidin YEAH!!! I WIN!!!



So I would not say I liked it... it's just I LOVED IT!!!

Since I read Dragonlance (more than 10 years) I have always said Raistlin Majere is my favourite character ever. Well, I found my second best: Severus Snape. Really, the chapter of "The Prince's Tale" was the best chapter of the entire series of books of Harry Potter. I could read it once and again and I'll never grow tired of it

I didn't get the title's meaning until I was at the end of the former chapter and thought: "Ok, so now it's time for Snape to show his point of view and I still have faith in him... but I don't get the 'Look at me' thing... " My heart was racing in that point (really, I felt like going crazy out of curiosity).

I heard lots of times about Snape falling for Lily and I always thought that would be quite a nice idea, but coming true in that wonderful chapter was FAR BETTER than expected. Makes Snape's character so tragic and romantic... and angsty! I'm a fan of the angsty characters you know

So Snape has always been my favorite character of the Harry Potter books, but this was quite a nice surprise, it gives him a nice and new dimension and makes an explanation for everything he does/did. That chapter explains many things and in the end tells you that Dumbledore was not so good (though he himself tells Harry that some chapters later) and Snape not so bad, everyone has shades of grey.

I liked all the "grey tone" of the book, I liked how the books were growing up with reader's ages. I think Rowling has a point in that.

When I read the first one a long ago were the mean people were bad people and the caring ones were good ones I felt like I was returning to being a child again and reading a nice tale that makes you dream a little Then you get to the third one and see how things are actually fitting together and feels like you're reading not just a children's tale but a good story. And then you advance and some of the myths crumble: I loved the scene when Harry gets to see some of the thoughts Snape leaves at the Pensieve and sees that maybe his father was not such a good person after all. And then I thought: not a tale anymore, this has a new dimension. There you get a hint about maybe not all the mean people are bad and not all the caring people are entirely good

That's what I liked most of the entire series: you can't have things for granted for long, nothing is what it seems to be. None is what it seems to be

I liked how all characters grow, how everything seems darker and how that darkness engulfs some of them when pushed to extreme situations. I like how everyone's reacts, I like the bitterness. And best of all: Harry does not win Voldemort because he(Harry) is better than him (that would be quite unlogical) but because Voldemort simply cannot win (Elder Wand).

And I can't forget the duel Molly vs. Bellatrix! GO GO MOLLY! I have always had a thing for her

So, to finish, quoting *snapesnogger: "Lol, I was a fan of Snape before he was cool" xD

I had faith and the reward was... really good. Wonderful ending for a wonderful series. It was since long ago that a book made me feel this way

And back to drawing something about that chapter! Just needs a bit of coloring

[ENGLISH VERSION OF MY RANTS]

Haré tb el journal en español... pq hay muchos vagos por aquí y tal y bueno... seguro q os quejáis, q es gratis ¬¬

Bueno, aquí estoy probando las cosillas estas de CSS/HTML y las imágenes en el journal, q ya q me he suscrito pues aprovecho estas tonterías q me encantan. Espero q gusten. Todavía tengo q arreglar algunas cosas pero bueno estoy en ello La elfa de la imagen es mi Night Elf Druida del World of Warcraft con su "hermana pequeña" una niña draenei. Ya subiré el dibujo en grande.

Bueno ahora estoy trabajando (más o menos xD) y vivo con mi novio ~Nephthar (q trabaja en la misma oficina q yo xD). Ya no tengo taaanto tiempo como antes pero me gusta esta nueva vida. Lástima q aquí (provincia de Albacete) haga tanto calor (q yo soy de Cantabria xD) pero parece q nieva en invierno así q no me quejaré (y eso q quejarse es gratis, como soñar) Aq estamos traumatizados con el hecho de q aquí no hay montañas pero bueno...

Me he comprado una impresora nueva ayer. La vija, una Epson, símplemente ha dejado de imprimir hace unos dias, no sé por qué Así q ahora tengo unabonita HP q me ha costado unos 49 € q imprime la mar de bien Además he comprado papel de este grueso para imprimir bien los dibujos.

Me he acabado el último libro de Harry Potter hace un par de días. Y he probado mi teoría a ~UlinGaidin JA!!!! YO GANO!!!



Bueno no voy a decir q me ha gustado... ES Q ME HA ENCANTADO!!!

Desde q leo Dragonlance siempre he dicho q mi personaje favorito entre cualquier cosa es Raistlin Majere. Bueno pues he encontrdo mi segundo personaje favorito: Severus Snape. De verdad, el capítulo de "The Prince's Tale" ha sido el mejor capítulo q me he leido en toda la serie de libros. Podría leérmelo una y otra vez y es q no me cansaría nunca

No había pillado el título del libro hasta q estaba al final del anterior y pensé: "Bueno ahora es el momento de mostra el punto de vista de Snape y yo todavía tengo fe en él... aq no pillo mucho eso de 'Look at me' y ya está " Estaba histérica en ese momento (lo digo en serio, hacía mucho q no me ponía así de histérica con un libro xD)

Llevaba mucho tiempo oyendo la teoría de q Snape estuviera enamorado de Lily y siempre pensé q sería una muy buena idea, pero q se haya hecho realidad en ese capítulo tan grande ha sido MUCHO MEJOR de lo q me esperaba. Hace q el personaje de Snape sea tan trágico y romántico... y el angst! Soy una fan del angst xD

Snape siempre ha sido mi personaje favorito de los libros de Harry Potter pero esto ha sido una grata sorpresa. Le da una nueva y muy buena dimensión y una explicación para todo lo q hace/hizo. El capítulo explica muchs cosas y al final viene a decir q ni Dumbledore era tan bueno (aq él mismo Dumbledore se lo dice a Harry en el siguiente capítulo) ni Snape tan malo, todo el mundo tiene escalas de gris.

De hecho me ha encantado los "tonos de gris" q tiene todo el libro, me gusta como los libros han crecido con los lectores. Creo q Rowling ha hecho eso muy bien.

Cuando leí el primero hace mucho donde las personas desagradables eran malvadas y las q se preocupaban buenas me parecía leer el tíico cuento para niños de esos q te hacen decir "Q way, me gustaría estar ahí" Entonces llegas al tercero y ves como als cosas realmente encajan y sientes q no estás leyendo un cuento para niños sino una buena historia para todos. Luego avanzas un poco más y algunos de los mitos caen abajo: me encantó la escena en la q Harry ve los recuerdos q Snape deja en el Pensieve en "La Orden del Fénix" y observa q, quizás, su padre no era tan buena persona como parecía. Y entonces pensé: esto ya no es un cuento, tiene otras dimensiones. Aquí empiezas a ver un poco q ni todas las personas desagradables son malas ni todas las q se preocupan son tan buenas

Y eso es lo q más me gusta de toda la serie: no puedes dar las cosas por sentadas, nada es lo q es ni nadie quien parece

Me gusta como todos los personajes se desarrollan y crecen q todo se haga más oscuro y como esa oscuridad se traga a algunas personas cuando son empujadas a situaciones límite. Me encanta como reaccionan y ese sentimiento de amargura de algunas veces. Y lo mejor de todo: Harry no gana a Voldemort pq él (Harry) sea mejor en el manejo de la magia (eso sería un tanto ilógico) sino pq Voldemort, simplemente no puede ganar (Elder Wand).

Y no puedo olvidar el grandísimo duelo de Molly vs. Bellatrix!!! Dios, Molly es q siempre me ha encantado! xD

Y para finalizar parafraseando a *snapesnogger: "lol, I was a fan of Snape before he was cool" xD

he tenido fe y la recompensa ha sido realmente grande Un gran final para una gran serie. Hacía mucho tiempo q un libro no me gustaba tanto

Y ahora de vuelta a dibujar algo de ese capítulo! Solo necesita color...

Por cierto, =ellaine ha puesto un journal presentando varios de los mejores dibujos de Snape y de ese capítulo. Están realmente bien, echadles un ojo. Pero cuidado con los SPOILERS!



Bueno esta vez no ha sido para tanto eh? xD No es q no quisiera extenderme pero bueno. Creo q ~Nephthar está harto de oirme habalr de Harry Potter (nah, no creo, tiene mucha paciencia y ya sabe lo q hay cuando me obsesiono con algo )
